Lady Gaga Look

So my sister went to a fancy dress party the other week as Lady Gaga! And asked me to do her makeup! So i thought I'd post some pics of how it turned out :) This is the picture i took inspiration from.

I absolutely LOVE Lady Gaga! So i really enjoyed finally getting to do one of her makeup looks.As most of her looks are not sane enough to wear in public lol.Anyways hope you like it

So lately i have been neglecting blogger.com :( But i do have an excuse and it goes by the name Youtube! I officially have got into the youtube video world and because of the editing and all the time it actually take to do a video.My blog has suffered. To be honest I seem to do everything on Youtube like hauls and tutorials and stuff so i have nothing left to do on my blog as i dont really want to repeat things and what not.But i'm back on board the blogging ship and need to get more and more followers on here.

Ke$ha-Dirty Picture Look

(Woo I look abit a drunk)

This is a look inspired by Ke$ha in the Dirty Picture Video.Basically on the face i used hardly anything just a little bit of concealer and a dusting of powder over the top.The look i was going for was the "I put on foundation at the beginning of the night but becuase i'm such a party animal i danced it all off." Which is a typical Ke$ha look.I also let the freckles come out to party as Ke$ha's freckles are clearly visible in the video.

Ke$ha is all about the eyes with the black smokey eye being her signiture look. And in the Dirty Picture video she steps it up and adds a bucket full of glitter to her eyes. This is what i came up with.

And finally the lips where i went for the look "I've drunk so much alcohol tonight i've forgotten to reapply my lipstick."So i just went for a nude lip and let the eyes do all the work

So as i was all dolled up for a night out and decided to do a whole look.Ke$ha style! It isn't like what she is wearing in the Dirty Picture Video but it's something i could see Ke$ha wearing on one of her wild raves.

My Lil' Lush Stash !

Hello People :)


What is wrong with me lately ? I can't stop blogging.It's becoming an obsession! Ah well I'm not complaining :)

So over the last month or so I've been collecting abit of lush here and there and just wanted to share my buys with you.

So here's my little stash of goodies:)

From left to right: Rockstar soap,Yummy yummy yummy shower gel and Honey I washed the kids soap.

I bought Rockstar and honey i washed the kids soap after hearing a lot about them on YouTube. And now i understand why these two products are so popular. i did have a look at all the soap but these two defiantly stood out for me. My absolute favourite is Honey i washed the kids. It smells of honey(obviously), vanilla and caramel and sometimes i actually just want to eat it. The only thing is i don't find the scent as strong after you've used it but it lathers really nice and is creamy on the skin.Lately I've been using Rockstar soap a lot.I don't quite know how to describe the smell other than sweet and girly. It also stays on your skin forever! Which is kinda distracting when your at work and keep finding yourself constantly sniffing your arm lol :)

Yummy yummy yummy isn't a stand out product from Lush. It's nice to have but isn't very unique. It smells of strawberries which is lovely but it leaves your skin with that squeaky clean feeling which i don't really like tbh as I have very dry skin and eczema :/

I love the formula's of these lip scrubs(even if they are just sugar in pot I'm way too lazy to even think of making it at home). They get all your dry,chapped skin off you lips and leaves your lips lovely and smooth. I actually don't like the taste of the Bubblegum one but i really like the Mint Julips. Not only does it give you smooth kissable lips but it also gives you that plumping sensation. These products are also great if you need a sugar rush as i probably eat more than i apply to my lips :)

Ermm.. I don't really know what to say about these except these products give me reason to have a bath.. I'm not really a bath person I'd much prefer to jump in my power shower jump out and get on with the rest of the day. Baths to me are just a bore!! But i did buy these products to get into the bath craze and i have to say it has worked. i just crumble these products under running water and let the fun commence. Both these products create mountains of bubbles although it would be even more fun if they were pink bubbles (but owell you can't have it all!!) The creamy candy bar smells like Rockstar soap which is why i got it. and the comforter smells of blackcurrant sweets and is so visually pleasing.So these beauties shall be a repurchase for sure!

So tbh i didn't know lush did skincare and i have the most terrible skin so i thought i might as well try it as i have nothing to lose:/

So i said to the Lush Girl

" Right i have dry combination skin. I get really oily on my T-zone but really dry everywhere else. I also have acne prone skin and tend to get red blotchyness around my nose and on my cheeks.. I also have eczema which gives me patches of really dry skin at the bottom my cheeks.. Oh and i have very sensitive skin.What do you recommend?" LOL

So after giving her minute to take in my list of skin problems she recommended me these three products. I think i might actually do a video or another blog post on these so i can give a more in depth review of these products for any of you who have some or maybe all the problems listed above.I'll also recommend some other skincare products Lush have to offer if you are wanting to get into Lush Skincare.

MAC To the Beach Haul and Swatches

So i woke up this morning to a little black box on my kitchen table. Yes you've probably guessed it from the title of this post... MAC To the Beach had finally arrived!!

So heres what i got:

I am so excited to finally get my hands on this collection and was pleasantly surprised when i found out it was being released the UK before the US. We always seem to be a month behind when it comes to MAC collections. Here are some more pictures and some swatches.

Lazy Days Lipstick is a lovely muted pink. When i first orded this i was worried it would be very similar to Lady Gaga but this is alot more wearable whereas Gaga is abit more vibrant. This Lipstick is very sheer but buildable and has a gorgeous sheen and is very creamy on the lips.

Lifes a Breeze Lip Pencil is a light baby pink colour. This is my first lip pencil from MAC and i find really easy to apply and creamy on the lips it also goes lovely with Lazydays.

Easy Lounger lipglass looks like a pale pink in the tube but when it is applied it is more like a clear gloss with silver glitter. It isn't like chuncky glitter but adds more of a shimmer when on the lips. I feel like this lipgloss will look gorgeous over any lipstick as it just adds that gloss.

Now to the Blush. I have never tried a corally kind of blush i've always been into my pinks and bronze kinda looks.so i never got why everyone was raving about coral this coral that blah blah blah. Well i totally get it now!! I love this blush! It's a corally pink which just adds that fresh glow to your cheeks.This for me is the standout product of the whole collection.

So i am loving this collection. I have to say that this is my favourite collection that mac has brought out so far (bear in mind i've only been collecting for 4 months lol). I am planning on taking a trip to my local mac counter next week to get the lustre drops as i love the highlight they give to the face. And i'm also thinking about getting the greeny bluey eye kohl but i think that can duped so mehh!! Anywho i got abit carried away when i got these products and decided to do a whole look.

Sleek Palettes-Storm and The Original

So after feeling the pain of spending £11 per eyeshadow at MAC.I decided to go a search for some sort of eyeshadow palette that i could use while i slowly but surely build up my MAC eyeshadow collection.Ahh The life of a 17 year old girl on minimum wage :( Bad times!Anyway I came across these two palettes in my local superdrug and decided to give them ago seen as a i kinda remembered someone on youtube raving about them. I can honestly say i lurvee both palettes.

The original is pure shimmer (which i don't really mind), highly pigmented, like crazy pigmented!! And has your greens, purples, blues, pinks ect ect...

The storm palette (which i have to say is my favourite) is a mixture of mattes and shimmers.This palettes consists of neutrals,browns,golds,smokey colours and a matte black.Again with this one the colour payoff is amazing!

Both these palettes are priced around £5 which is like a dream tbh! And they are great to try out and experiment with especially if you are just starting out in makeup. You can't really go wrong tbh!
